1. Information the app collects

252 has no sign-in with email or password. On first launch, the app signs you in anonymously and creates a random, device-linked identifier — no personal profile is created. Using this identifier, the app collects:

Usage and gameplay analytics — screen views and key gameplay events (e.g. run started, run completed, tutorial step reached) are sent automatically to our analytics service to understand how the game is used and to fix problems.
Leaderboard entries (public) — if you finish a 252-day run, your result (nickname, country, device model, app version, return rate, final assets, trade count, grade) is uploaded to our server and shown on the public global and country leaderboards. Anyone can view leaderboard entries; nicknames are visible to other players.
Crash reports — if the app crashes, an error message and stack trace are sent to our server, tagged with your anonymous identifier, to help us fix bugs.

Core gameplay (the market simulation itself) runs on your device and does not require a network connection. Features that involve other players or our servers — the leaderboard, analytics, and crash reporting — require an internet connection when they run.

2. Information collected by this website

This website (252.sanglimsoft.com) does not use cookies or advertising scripts. Our hosting provider automatically processes standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) to serve pages and protect the site from abuse, as is standard for any web request.

3. Information you provide by contacting us

If you submit the form on our Support page or email us directly, we collect the email address and message you provide (and, for data deletion requests, the nickname you tell us), so that we can respond to you and locate the right record. Form submissions are stored in a database used only to receive and respond to inquiries.

4. Third parties and data processors

6. Retention period

Analytics events and crash reports: retained while the anonymous identifier remains active, and deleted on request (§7).
Leaderboard entries: retained while the leaderboard is operated, since they are the ranking record itself; deleted on request (§7).
Contact-form submissions: retained until the inquiry is resolved and for a reasonable period afterward, then deleted.

7. Your rights

252 has no account system, so there is no login to delete. To request deletion of your leaderboard entry or analytics data, use the Support form and tell us your in-game nickname and roughly when you played — that is the identifier we can look up on our server. If you contacted us before, you can also ask us to delete that message at any time. Uninstalling the app deletes all data stored locally on your device, but does not by itself delete records already on our server (leaderboard entries, analytics, crash reports) — request that separately as above.

8. Children's privacy

252 does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.

Change log — Sep 26, 2026: rewrote to reflect actual data collection (analytics, leaderboard, crash reports); previously stated the app collects no data.
